Green Man Weekend
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May – 10am to 4pm
The event at Mount Edgcumbe celebrates the re-birth of the year by constructing a huge Green Man figure made from storm damaged trees.
This year’s Green Man event will be a fantastic mix of entertainment with something for all the family, on 24 and 25 May from 10am to 4pm. Enjoy live music on the stage by the Green Man.
There will be traditional family activities – fairground entertainment, morris dancing plus delicious food, a licensed bar tent and lots of gifts and crafts to treat yourself.
With the event running on both Saturday and Sunday you can always come back for second helpings and make sure you don’t miss a thing.
The event is free to enter and plenty of parking is available on site at only £5 per vehicle for the whole day, or take the Cremyll Ferry from Plymouth dropping you straight into the Park.
Mount Edgcumbe Triathlon – Brought to you by SPORTIVA
Sunday 15th June – From 7am
Sportiva Events is running Plymouth Triathlon, previously known as Mount Edgcumbe Triathlon, in collaboration with Plymouth Tri Club.
We’ll be working closely with Plymouth Tri Club & the team at Mount Edgecumbe to deliver a fantastic event at an amazing venue that’s just a short ferry ride from the centre of Plymouth.
The sea swim is sheltered with land on both sides. The tough bike is on rolling roads but with some stunning sea views along the way. The final traffic free runs, based on a 5K lap, are within the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe & include some great coast path.
As there isn’t a good traffic-free bike course available, we are running the 2025 kids events as aquathlons.
New for 2025 is the Rame Head Race. This is a trail running race taking place the day before the Swims & Triathlons.

Armchair Adventure Festival – Brought to you by the Side Car Guys
24th – 27th July
Taking place on a beautiful Cornish hilltop at the incredible Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, The Armchair Adventure Festival is the UK’s best celebration of adventure travel.
Having started in 2020 in lockdown as the world first 100% live virtual adventure festival, we’ve now taken AAF in person with talks from incredible speakers, amazing adventurous activities and incredible live music. In previous years, festival goers have paddle boarded with a pod of dolphins, heard tales of adventure from speakers as iconic as Colonel John Blashford-Snell and danced the night away to fantastic live music from bands including Land of the Giants.
We’re now gearing up for our fifth in-person Armchair Adventure Festival taking place from 24th-27th July 2025 and it’s going to be our biggest and best one yet! We hope you can join us for it!

Let’s meet some of the passengers and crew of arguably one of the most famous ships in history and see what unfolds.15th March – 6.30 pm – 3 course dinner – £65pp (booking fees apply)
