Latest update from the Mount Edgcumbe Cricket Team
A typical sluggish start to the season on a cool afternoon.
PCSR batted first and struggled on a low, slow pitch, with wickets falling regularly, we contained them to 131 all out. George taking the first wicket of the season, all bowlers getting at least one wicket but Andy was the most successful with 3 for 18.
After tea, we failed to get any momentum with the bat, with Ben falling to his fourth ball faced for a duck, one of 5 in the innings, we were all out for 49 runs. Good to have Ben back after a year out injured, he took three catches, two of which were excellent. Matt scored the first run, a four hit off his fourth ball.
