Mount Edgcumbe vs. Old Suttonians.
Week two of the season and we played our first home match, under the new Covid guidelines.
Batting first we restricted the visitors to 136 for 9. Josh held a catch off Andrews bowling and Chris one off Dave’s, two balls after he dropped one off his own bowling.
He did split his finger and ended up with 4 stitches, one more than the three wickets he took (3 for 26). Andrew took four (4 for 34) and Dan one (1 for 18) and Josh (1 for 17). Tom P, Tom V and Rashid were unsuccessful on the day. Chris and Dan shared the wicket keeping duties, with Chris the first twenty overs and Dan the last.
In reply, Ollie carried his bat hitting 82*, his fifty off 47 balls in 65 mins. Tom P chipped in with 6, Tom V 19, Wes 1 and Mike undefeated on 0.
